William is a disabled Veteran that served in the US Army. During his rehabilitation after an accident that ended his military career, William was introduced to the O&P field. He was then accepted into California State University’s Orthotic and Prosthetic program, where he was one of only fourteen students accepted every two years. William graduated in 2001 with Summa Cum Laude Honors and was awarded the Karg Scholarship for his outstanding performance. While working towards his degree, William provided O&P care at the University of Southern California Hospital and The City of Hope (which is a world-renowned cancer hospital).
After graduation, William moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he began his residency. He completed his residency in 2004. William opened NCOPI Goldsboro in 2008.
