    • Discuss optimum post-operative / pre-prosthetic exercises
    • Become familiar with prosthetic terminology and componentry
    • Know the essential elements of initial PT evaluation and goals after prosthetic delivery
    • Appreciate the differences between transtibial and transfemoral prosthetic requirements and use
    • Able to initiate and then progress prosthetic gait training and drills
    • Learn to analyze prosthetic problems and gait deviations
    • Discuss psychosocial issues of amputation and return to community, work, and recreation
