If you are a college student and have an interest in learning about the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics, NCOPI is pleased to invite you to attend our first ever Hands-On Education Experience.

Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) is the evaluation, fabrication, and custom fitting of artificial limbs and orthopedic braces. O&P is an allied health profession with a variety of exciting employment opportunities available, including O&P practitioners, pedorthists, assistants, fitters, and technicians.

The event is scheduled to take place December 4th from 11am – 1pm at 2717 Leighton Ridge Drive in Wake Forest.

We have room for up to 12 students and/or professors and are specifically interested in reaching out to students studying related fields, including but not limited to the following:

  • Pre-Med
  • Applied Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Physical Therapy
  • Business

During the two hour session, you will hear from the founder and owner of North Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics; be introduced to the educational requirements to pursue a future in the field; hear from a prosthetic patient about their personal experience; tour our fabrication facilities; and have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about Orthotics and Prosthetics.

If interested in attending, please fill out and submit the form below.  You will receive confirmation of receipt of your submission.  We’ll post an update here when all seats have been claimed.
